Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how DealerCreator, Inc. ("DealerCreator," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use dealercreator.com and related services (the "Services"). By using the Services you accept the practices described here.

• Account information — name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and any additional details you provide during signup
• Purchase-request information — vehicle preferences, trade-in details (VIN, condition, photos), financing target, timeframe, delivery preference, and the messages you exchange with matched Brand Experts
• Payment information — card details are collected directly by Stripe, our payment processor; DealerCreator receives only a token and the last-4 digits for receipts
• Location information — ZIP code you enter or that we infer from your IP address (via ipapi.co) to find local dealer inventory
• Usage information — pages visited, searches performed, offers viewed, and standard log data (IP, browser type, timestamps)

• To operate the Services (match you with dealers, route offers)
• To communicate with you about your request (see Section 4)
• To process payments via Stripe
• To provide customer support
• To improve the Services and detect fraud or abuse
• To comply with legal obligations

When you expressly consent by checking the SMS opt-in checkbox on the buying-process wizard, we send you transactional SMS text messages about your active purchase request. This includes offer notifications, deal status, appointment confirmations, and delivery scheduling from DealerCreator and the specific dealership(s) matched to that request.

• Frequency: typical 3–10 messages per active request
• Opt-out: reply STOP at any time; you may also toggle SMS off in your account settings

SMS opt-in data is never shared with third parties or affiliates for any purpose — not for marketing, not for resale, not for cross-brand promotion. Your phone number is used only to deliver the transactional messages tied to your request.

We share information only in these situations:

• With matched Brand Experts and dealerships — the specific parties working on your active request receive the information they need to serve you (vehicle preferences, contact details, offer decisions). Not shared until you submit a request.
• With service providers — Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS), MarketCheck (vehicle data), AWS S3 (image storage), Neon (database hosting). These providers process data on our behalf under their own contracts of confidentiality.
• For legal reasons — when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of DealerCreator, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to the acquirer honoring this Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember preferences (ZIP code, saved cars). We use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the Services. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may break account features.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Purchase-request data is retained for 7 years for tax and audit purposes. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 8).

Regardless of where you live, you can:

• Access, correct, or delete your account information
• Export your data
• Opt out of SMS (reply STOP or toggle in settings)
• Close your account

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and to whom we disclose it, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights. Submit CCPA/CPRA requests to privacy@dealercreator.com.

We use industry-standard technical and administrative safeguards (TLS, encryption at rest, access controls) to protect your information. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we notify affected users promptly on any material breach as required by law.

The Services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes take effect on the Effective date shown at the top of the page.
